Situated on top of a broad hill and known locally as the 'Round Field'. Indicated as a large embanked enclosure (diam. c. 75m) on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a large field (diam. c. 75m) on the 1921 ed. It was defined by a low scarp (H c. 0.5-1m) and hedge, but is not now visible in reclaimed pasture. The SE arc is faintly visible on Digital Globe aerial photography taken between 2001 and 2004.
