Within an extensive complex of middens (GA048-008001-). The remains consist of at least two circular, and one square, huts defined by a loose scatter of boulders: (a) close to NE part of Doonloughan Bay is a square hut (L/Wth 4.4m) enclosed by a rectangular annexe to N (L 6.4m, Wth 4.4m); (b) close to S end of False Bay there is at least one circular example (D c. 3m) containing a centrally placed hearth and doorway at E; (c) at S limits of midden complex is a hut which survives as an irregular spread of boulders (D c. 25m). Gibbons et al. (1988, 66) have since noted the existence of at least five huts in this area. (Waddell 1977, 63)
