What is recorded here

Marianne said the white walls marked a household that refused to leave the hillside. The family lived above the valley, not beside it, and they kept the house bright because darkness belonged to the valley, not to them.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as THE WHITEHOUSE - 17th century BAWN. Recorded period: POST-MED; C17TH. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
