Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c.1840, with recent shopfront to front (south) elevation. Pitched slate roof with rendered eaves course, chimneystack and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with double-height fluted render panels to first and second floors in relief. Square-headed window openings with shared render sills to upper floor, having raised render reveals and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Recent render shopfront with sign board. Square-headed window opening with fixed timber-framed display window with render sill and rendered stall riser. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door and overlight.

Though altered at ground floor level, this former house is of a similar scale and proportion to many of the buildings in the town's historic core, and remains an integral part of the terrace. Its upper floors retain wide eaves, paired timber windows and giant fluted pilasters which add to its character.
