Semi-detached two-bay two-storey house, built c.1840. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, cast-iron rainwater goods and recent rooflights. Rendered walls with string course to first floor. Square-headed window openings with stone sills and one-over-one pane. Tripartite windows to east bay. Round-headed door opening flanked by render pilasters supporting archivolt with keystone to timber panelled door and fanlight. Cast- and wrought-iron pedestrian gate with cast-iron railings mounted on render boundary wall with cut limestone coping. Set within its own grounds.

One of a pair, this well-proportioned house’s design and detailing are skilfully executed. The plain façade contrasts with the ornate doorcase which forms the decorative focus. The doorcase, timber sash windows, and fine gate and railings work together to create an interesting historic building.
