What is recorded here
Five pieces of alder and willow brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.05m) in the drain face (Wth 0.5m; D 0.18m). The pieces are irregularly deposited. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing occasional of Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
