What is recorded here
A single piece of worked brushwood in poor condition on the field surface (L 0.277m; diam. 0.035m). It lies in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and some ericaceous remains. SMR OF026-079---- is 3.15m to the SW and SMR OF026-081---- is 3.99m to the NE. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2003. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
