What is recorded here
This structure consisted of an irregular deposit (L 2.4m; Wth 1.8m; D 0.06m) of fifteen pieces of small brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.03m) and a single peg set at 70°. The condition of the wood was poor and only one metal-cut toolmark was recovered. The structure has not been scientifically dated, however, it lay c. 2m SE of another structure (LF004-005----), at the same level, and the two are likely to be contemporary. It also lay 0.35m above the ENE edge of a togher (LF004-003----) (Moore and O’Connor 2009a, 44, EDC 50).
