What is recorded here

A deposit (L 2.28m; Wth 0.91m; D 0.07m) of nine roundwoods (diam. 0.06-0.1m) and three pieces of brushwood (av. diam. 0.02m) was orientated N-S. The elements were loosely laid. The condition of the wood was good and metal-cut toolmarks were present on several elements. Fragments of an alder bowl were recovered c. 0.6m to the NE of and 0.25m below this deposit. It overlay a structure (LF004-022----) and was just N of the W extent of a togher (LF004-009----) (Moore and O’Connor 2009a, 25 6, EDC 15).
