This structure, traditionally known as the ‘saint’s bed’ or ‘Leaba Molaise’, is located in a church (SL001-001005-), known as Teach Molaise.
A broad wall bench extends along the south wall of Teach Molaise internally, abutting the altar (SL001-001007-) at one end and the west gable at the other. The face of the bench (0.7 m high) is raised in roughly coursed rubble; the surface (c. 1 m wide) is formed by medium and large angular slabs, loosely laid.
