Some 150m SSE of an earthwork (GA085-086----). An oval enclosure (E-W 26m, N-S 21m), in poor condition, defined by a scarp with modern breaches at E and S. An external fosse is present from W through N to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
