In mainly level pasture on the mid E-facing slope of a ridge. Recorded on the first edition (1837) of the OS 6-inch map as an oval-shaped enclosure – a possible ringfort - (est. max diams. c. 35m ENE-WSW; c. 25m NNW-SSE) with a later field boundary running ENE-WSW across it S limits. The enclosure is not shown on the slightly later OS 25-inch map (1893). The field boundary survives with a well–surfaced byroad running parallel to its S, but no visible surface trace of the enclosure can be seen.
