Unknown Townland, County Dublin, Ireland: a bas-relief of two intertwined animals, a dog killing a wolf, removed from Ardabrone Castle in Co. Sligo and set into a new wall. The stones remember violence, not decoration: jaws locked, legs twisted, one animal giving up and the other taking what it wanted. Men moved it because the picture still worked, and in a new place it works twice.
