Situated on a gentle W-facing slope within a cleared area to the E of the forest track. Five boulders form a circle (dims. 5.5m E-W; 6m N-S), with the two tallest at the NW while the remaining stones descend in height to the lowest, which lies perpendicular to the symmetrical axis of the circle and appears to represent a recumbent.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
