Castlehill marks a field boundary near Stirling where unidentified Roman pottery surfaced, suggesting the area supported human activity during the Roman period. The hill may have watched herds move, fields change shape, or people pass along routes now forgotten. Its name still carries the idea of a castle, though no standing castle is recorded at that exact point.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlehill as Field Boundary (period Unassigned), Unidentified Pottery (roman). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
