Castleton 6 is a neolithic to bronze age cup and ring marked rock in Stirling, Scotland. Its exact point is known to the nearest metre, yet the marks still withhold their meaning. Perhaps a person pressed a tool into stone during a storm, drawing rings that mapped water, memory or hunger. The rock keeps that pressure while the region forgets the hand.
