Glasgow City Corporation Water Works, 1855 Aqueduct, Castleburn Aqueduct Embankment stands in Stirling, Scotland. The aqueduct and embankment still mark the line where Glasgow reached outward for water. Castleburn may have flowed beneath or beside the structure, carrying rain, silt and the ordinary business of a growing city.
