What is recorded here
Two stones stand together in County Mayo, not one but a pair, which doubles the mystery and suggests dialogue rather than lonely marker. They may have guided herds, marked a boundary or watched a funeral road before written memory arrived. Their side-by-side shape refuses the usual singular answer, forcing imagination to share the space instead of occupying it alone.
