OPW topographical files (1947) record a pillar-like stone (0.6m x 0.6m; H 1.2m) at this location. There was a megalithic structure (MA040-063002-) located 2.4m to N and a holed stone (MA040-063001-) 6.7m to N of the megalithic structure. All three features removed from their original locations and buried during land reclamation work.

Probably dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, this standing stone may have been part of a ritual or funerary landscape associated with nearby megalithic structures. Its alignment or proximity to other stones may reflect ceremonial practices or territorial markers of early farming communities.
