In pasture in commanding position on E-facing slope. Rectangular stone aligned NW-SE (H 1.49m; 0.52m x 0.41m). One of three possible scratching stones (see CO107-016---). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
