Burial ground in Sroove is a burial ground in Sroove, County Sligo, Ireland. In 1836 it was recorded that an ancient burial place called Cillin Dubh lay near Mr McDermott's house. Local information identifies that house as Coolavin on the shores of Lough Gara, placing the burial ground somewhere north of the rath. The exact location remains unknown.
In 1836 it was recorded that 'there was anciently a burial place in Shrooff, near Mr McDermott's house called Cillin Dubh' (OSL, 418). The exact location of this burial ground is not known. According to local information, Mr McDermott's house is that named 'Coolavin' on the shores of Lough Gara and the burial ground is somewhere N of the rath (SL046-025----).
