Craiglockhart - Castle Greg - Castledykes may be a Roman road, a faint line across South Lanarkshire where human legs and wheels once moved through darkness. Castle Greg still stands beside that possibility, its stones catching rain while the buried route waits beneath grass and memory. To walk the area is to join an old column of travellers, their names lost but their direction clear.
