The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Bronze Age burial cairn with associated cists and artifacts, dating to approximately 2000–800 BCE. The site is significant for its multiple interments and the presence of a rapier, indicating social stratification or ritual practices of the Middle Bronze Age in Scotland.
