Barwhin Hill holds a nineteenth-century stone row inside Culzean Castle Policies, marked to the nearest metre yet still hidden beneath living land. The stones may have measured a boundary, guided a cart, or simply marked the pride of a castle estate before modern roads arrived. They remain a quiet row in South Ayrshire, waiting for a person strong enough to imagine the hands that lifted them.
