Prestwick Holy Well is associated with Saint Bride (Brigid), a widely venerated Celtic saint linked to healing and fertility. Traditionally, the well was visited for its curative properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and general wellness, with rituals often performed at dawn or on significant feast days.
