Pairs of square-profile limestone ashlar gate piers with carved limestone cap stones, c.1765, linked by limestone plinth walls surmounted by original wrought-iron railings. Terminating square-headed pedestrian openings with wrought-iron gates. Coursed rubble stone wall with limestone coping links the gates to the bridge to south. Modern double gates.
