Loch of Flatpunds

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Loch of Flatpunds as Cairnfield (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A prehistoric cairnfield; likely dates to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Its significance lies in representing communal burial or ritual practices typical of early Scottish settlements.
