Upper Loch of Brouster

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Upper Loch of Brouster as Cairn (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3500–2500 BCE). It is part of a significant cluster of prehistoric monuments in Shetland, reflecting early communal burial and ritual practices in northern Scotland.
