In a small wood c. 100m N of a possible tower house (KD014-027001-) and mansion (KD014-027002-). According to the OSL (Herity 2002, 46 (141)), 'Within the precincts of the Churchyard, in which the old church (KD014-043001-) stood, and which lies now without a fence in an open field, is the vault of the Sherlock family'. In modern times the graveyard has functioned as a private burial ground for the family.
