Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Sheepstown is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Sheepstown, County Westmeath, Ireland. This slightly raised circular area, measuring 29 metres north to south and 31 metres east to west, is enclosed by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank is only visible at north and west, while a 2.2 metre wide entrance gap exists at southeast. The interior rises slightly towards the centre, where a possible hut site appears as a slight depression to the south.

Situated on a prominent natural rise in undulating grassland with good views in all directions. Ringfort (WM008-068----) 70m to NW. A slightly raised circular shaped area (diam. 29m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks and intervening fosse. The outer bank is only visible at N & W. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.2m) at SE. The interior rises slightly towards the centre. There is a possible hut site visible as a slight depression to the S of the centre of the interior. The ground immediately outside the monument has been disturbed by quarrying. The 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map depicts a post-1700 lime-kiln built into SSE perimeter of the ringfort.
