What is recorded here

In rough, heather-clad pasture, broken by rock outcrops, on a SW-facing slope. The remains of a circular hut (diam. 3.9m) defined by a drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.8m). There is a gap in the wall at SW. The SW portion of the interior is raised (H 0.4m) and the NE portion is cut into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. A curved wall in the NNE sector of the interior encloses the S half of an elliptical-shaped area. The N half of this area is defined by the internal face of the wall of the hut NW-NE.
