What is recorded here

On the grounds of Sheastown Lodge. Indicated as a semi-oval area (dims. c. 46m N-S; c. 66m E-W) planted with trees on the 1899-1903 revision of the 6-inch OS map. Several other irregularly shaped tree plantations are dotted around the estate, including a sub-oval one (KK024-004----) c. 90m to the NNW.
