What is recorded here

Mnoogo is the largest ringfort in Ireland. Rathmeel is not the largest. Rathmeel is a small circular fort in west County Mayo. It has a broad shallow ditch and a low grassy bank. The land around it is open and wet. A person can walk inside the circle and touch the edge of the ditch. The fort is not grand. It is clear. It is also old enough to belong to the landscape instead of a person.
