Detached multiple-bay single- and two-storey factory, built 1946-7. Now disused. Comprising single-bay three-stage entrance block, flanked by four-bay two-storey block to north and by recessed two-bay two-storey block to south, having projecting single- and two-storey sections. Fifteen-bay single-storey block to north. Flat roofs to main entrance section, with corrugated saw-tooth roofs and vent pipes to northern block. Roughcast rendered walls having render plinth. Double-height engaged concrete columns flanking entrance with elongated entablature above. Clocks to three faces of central entrance block. Carved stone plaque to set over entrance. Square-headed openings having glass bricks to entrance block and to projecting flanking sections to south of entrance. Square-headed openings set in triple arrangements to northern block, having metal casement windows with concrete sills. Pair of timber panelled double leaf doors to entrance with limestone step.
