Athelduke

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Athelduke as Motor Tanker (period Unassigned)-(1945). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The *Athelduke* was a motor tanker built in 1945, later involved in a collision off the coast of Scotland in 1973. The wreck, now a well-known dive site, is considered historically significant for its association with post-war maritime trade and shipwreck ecology.
