Castle Park is a post Medieval Ha Ha in the Scottish Borders, a hidden cut that may have swallowed boundary walls whole so riders could charge unmarked into another domain. The land may have worn that shape for centuries, hiding ownership from horses and men alike. Such cuts still bite in places where visibility mattered more than mercy.
