What is recorded here

Castle Law is a cropmark in the Scottish Borders, recorded without a known period or visible ruin. It may have been a farmstead, a watchtower or a boundary marker, but the earth has taken back its shape. The law of the land still holds the point, even when human memory has not.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castle Law as Cropmark (period Unknown). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
