What is recorded here

Indicated is a C-shaped fairy fort in West Cork, its earthen bank conjoined to a larger bivallate ringfort on a knoll. The completed circle suggests two different occupations or purposes joined rather than one failed build. The narrow north-west gap leaves the shape open to the sky, as if the fort still expects entry on its own terms.

In pasture, on side of knoll, adjoining NW side of bivallate ringfort (CO134-019002-). C-shaped enclosure (21.6m N-S; 18.9m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1m) SSE->NNE, with external fosse (D 0.4m); enclosure conjoined with bivallate ringfort (CO134-019002-) NNE->SSE.
