What is recorded here

A togher (L 124m; Wth 2.8m; D 0.3m), orientated ENE-WSW, consisting of a single layer of longitudinal ash roundwood (diam. 0.065-0.085m) with some hazel brushwood (av. diam. 0.025m). At its W end it was overlain by a layer of fine sand. Compiled by: Mary Tunney based on data supplied by the former Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit, University College, Dublin.
