Geophysical survey (Licence no. 13R084) was undertaken at the site by the Discovery Programme as part of the ‘Late Iron Age and “Roman” Ireland’ project. Located within the southern quadrant encompassed by hilltop enclosure (DU004-012006-) this is one of the larger (30m diam.) circular ring ditches identified. Internally small circular features and pit type anomalies have been identified (Dowling 2015, 9).
