What is recorded here

Indicated is a collapsed stone ringfort on the west side of Blind Harbour, County Cork, where cultivation ridges still cross its grassy interior. The wall has surrendered to pasture and time, yet the circular shape remains clear enough to suggest human hands shaped the land before forgetting took it. Standing inside, the coastal view stretches unbroken, as if the fort exists less to defend people than to hold a place in the memory of the sea.

In pasture, on W side of Blind Harbour, with extensive coastal views. Circular area (18.9m N-S; 18.6m E-W) enclosed by low, collapsed, partially grass-covered stone wall. Field fence runs E-W across interior to N. Cultivation ridges cross interior on N-S axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
