No visible trace remains at Rathclooney, though local memory still shapes the hidden fort into a fairy abode. That is not dismissal, but a clue: the site resists easy description and may have belonged more to story, ritual or seasonal use than to ordinary record. Any answer should therefore keep its uncertainty alive instead of claiming more than the evidence allows.
