Low earthen mound (diam. c. 15m; H. 0.5m) located in wet flat land. Not marked on any edition of OS 6-inch map and discovered by V. J. Keeley during work on Portlaoise by-pass in 1992. (See also LA013:107). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
