Font in Railstown (Railstown parish) is a font in Railstown (Railstown parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. It stands in the graveyard immediately outside the church, one metre north of the chancel's north wall and 0.8 metres east of the nave's northeast corner. The crude limestone boulder rises 0.6 metres above ground and carries a deep oval bowl measuring 0.5 metres deep. One side has been cut straight, probably to fit the font against a wall in its original position.
Within Railstown graveyard (TS061-125001-) immediately outside the church (TS061-125----), being embedded in the ground 1m N of the N wall of the chancel and 0.8m E of the NE angle of the nave. A crude limestone boulder (dims. 0.68m x 0.75m; H 0.6m above ground) with a deep oval bowl (int. diam. at top 0.38m x 0.41m, at base 0.12m x 0.15m; D 0.5m). One side of the boulder has been cut to form a straight face, probably to facilitate its original position up against a wall.
