In undulating pastureland. Subcircular rath (33.7m N-S; 31m E-W), in fair condition, defined by
two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is best preserved from SE through W to NW. From NE to SE piles of rubble and timber have been dumped along and on top of it. The fosse and outer bank survive from S through W to N. A possible Man-made underground passage (GA095-047001-) is associated. (Holt 1912, 229; McCaffrey 1952, 131-2, no. 21)
