Corlis is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where human history thins and legend thickens. Its banks may have marked a boundary, a home or a warning, yet local story treats it as a doorway rather than a dead place. That uncertainty is not a gap, but the shape of the fort: a circle holding what measurement refuses to release.
