What is recorded here
No visible trace remains, but the ground still holds the shape of a seventeenth-century bawn in Prehen. A closed farmyard, a private world behind a wall, maybe with a gate that swung on iron rings and a kitchen fire that lit the dark. The wall is gone or buried now, yet the line of it may still show in grass, soil or stone. To walk Prehen is to pass through a room nobody built for strangers.
