What is recorded here

Cilwhybert rises in Powys as a medieval castle mound, its earth shaped by human hands rather than natural chance. The mound may have served as a watchtower, a boundary marker, or a temporary military camp during a turbulent age. Its exact purpose has faded, but the shape remains: a deliberate elevation built to see farther, control more, or survive longer.
