POST-MEDIEVAL: SETTLEMENT SITE in Town Parks

POST-MEDIEVAL: SETTLEMENT SITE

What is recorded here

No visible ruin remains, but the ground under the grass held kitchens, bedrooms and workshops when the town was young. People walked past the place without knowing they were stepping through a living neighbourhood. The park is not empty; it is a roof removed from an ordinary house.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as POST-MEDIEVAL: SETTLEMENT SITE. Recorded period: POST-MED. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
