This blue commemorative plaque records: This Shopping Arcade was built 1927-28 to link the ancient streets of Westgate and Cumbergate. Its architect was A.W.Ruddle who owned the site jointly with Fitzwilliam Estates. Recorded plaque organisation: Peterborough Civic Society.
